AGV Genuine Helmet: Very Good cosmetic condition, with some light degradation/wear to the bottom rear circumference, as a result of sitting in an exhibit casing (see pic# 11). The Story behind the Helmet
In 2011, Rossi moved from Yamaha to Ducati with great expectations of winning on an Italian bike. However, the bike proved incredibly challenging to get accustomed to, and the results were well below his past usual standards. By the time the MotoGP championship arrived at Misano, Italy - the frustration was boiling over, leading to likely his worst results in his GP career at that point.
The "WTF" helmet was designed by Aldo Druidi. When asked about it, Valentino explained that it represented "what I think when I ride". He also went on to say that it was to express his growing frustration, but using a polite method with cartoon-style expletives instead of a literal use of words. Rossi's mechanic, Alex Briggs, confirmed the translation of the design was "WTF".
