Bimota Genuine Parts: Original front upper with belly fairing, and windscreen. NOS. Stored away in the original factory box, unused, in excellent condition. Could use some polishing, but in otherwise spotless condition. Sold as shown, as-is. All sales are final.
Seller's Story:
"My father bought a new 1997 Bimota DB2 FE from a dealer in Greensburg, Indiana and owned it for maybe fifteen years. Besides driving service techs crazy because of the bodywork design, the only notable incident happened when being transported to Daytona in an enclosed trailer. Another bike popped loose from its’ straps and damaged the DB2’s main fairing. As you might imagine, Bimota didn’t have ready made replacements in stock, so while the insurance claim and new fairing were processed, there was plenty of time to get the original fairing repaired and reinstalled. The local shop did excellent paint work, so the replacement fairing wasn’t needed when it finally arrived and has stayed in the shipping crate ever since. When my dad eventually sold the DB2, the buyer wasn’t interested in the spare bodywork, so it sat in my dad’s basement for over two decades."
